Round trip

8 flights, 7 days, 4 islands, 2 airlines and and one incredible trip for two back to back Garuda assignments from the bottom to the top of Sumatra, taking in warrior tribes, lost megalithic statues, elephants, endangered rhinos, iconic point breaks and the odd motorcycle river crossing. The picture shows a seventeen-year-old local boy jumping over a two metre stone, a tradition found in the indigenous villages of Nias island off the coast of Sumatra.
